Our rules are the same as Bigpoints as follows:

General:
The community lives through its members, where everyone is welcome. To ensure a smooth and friendly environment within the community, there are certain rules we ask you to follow on the board. However factual discussions are always welcome.
It is obvious that we do not tolerate any disrespectful behaviour, or content of offensive nature. The respect towards other members is top(most) priority.

Politeness:
While formulating a thread or message, unfortunately most people do not realize that their message are not only read by a machine, but other beings as well – mostly Humans.

Consider this at all times and do not be tempted to aggravate others. Note: The more aggravated, violent or unfriendly you present yourself – the less the chances that someone will help you at a time of need.
A simple rule of thumb: Never write anything to a someone, that you wouldn’t say to him personally in real life.

Spelling:
Our members are hardly Language Teachers who fully control their Spelling and Articulation. That’s why everyone can post here. You are advised, however, to go through your message before posting. Spelling errors may lead to contraversial and misleading content.

Age:
Those who feel superior to others simply because a person is younger than you itself, is evidence of superiority - but the reverse applies as well. Even a 14-year-old can make good questions, as a 45-year-old human being can. Age should never be the subject of discussion.

Offensive Discussions:
The tone makes the music. Every member within a community is responsible for making sure that the right music is played. If someone does not share someone else’s opinion, it becomes a discussion – which does not mean, however, that a offensive verbal fight has to escalate. Offensive language is not tolerated and will result in severe punishment of the participating parties.
The severeness of the punishment is discussed related to the severeness of the verbal discussion.

Threats:
We do not tolerate threats. A first threat will result in a warning. Continuos threats will result in disclosed punishments.

Provoking Violence:
Messages that violate or provoke others to violate the law are not allowed. Users who violate this paragraph will face legal consequences. URLs to illegal sites will be deleted – along with the Author. This includes the distribution of Warez & Cracks.

Behaviour on the Forum

Crossposting:
Should you have a question – post it into one forum – not all of them. You will not recieve a quicker response – your entries will be deleted. Crosspostings are considered as very disturbing as they make it harder for members to reply.

Search for old threads first:
It is very disturbing to answer the same old question several times. If you take your time to search for your problem – you will in most cases find the corresponding answer as well. Bumping a topic will result in a warning as well.

Board Language:
The language on this Board is in English and will be kept in English. This measure is taken in order to ensure that everyone is able to communicate within the forum. Should we find users posting in other languages or trying to bypass our rules by posting aggravating messages in another language, they will recieve a first warning. Punishments are disclosed.

Selecting a Title/Subject:
You should choose a meaningful title, which cleary shows what the topic is about. "Heeeeeeelp" does not belong nor say anything meaningful towards your topic.
Multiple use of exclamaition marks or other characters within a title are also not welcomed.
You should also never write full sentances in capital letters only SINCE THIS IS NOT HARD TO READ, BUT IS ALSO BAD FOR THE EYES.

Be nice!
Even if you are in a hurry, make sure to proof read your message before posting it. Often a message which was written in a hurry can be misinterpreted. Emoticons – e.g. ;-) ("Wink") can help avoid Misinterpretations.

Double Posting / Bumping:
We try our best to answer threads as fast as possible, but cannot guarantee a swift response. Please be patient and do not try to bump or double post your entry – as this may result in a complete deletion of your post.

Responsibility:
Each member is responsible for his own contribution. Every member has the right of free speech. However, this freedom should not be taken lightly – as this freedom is defined in the law of each country.

Say thank you:
As in real life – a thank you can positively contribute to the atmosphere. If someone helped you – he will be happy to be thanked. It also signalizes other members that your inquiry has been processed, which allows the thread to be closed.

Forum Sections:
This board has been devided into sections for ease of use, Whilst some (Official Announcements) are official forums and as such cannot be posted in by members others such as (Speakers Corner) are the members responsibilitie. While the board moderators will try and overview every post that is made this is not always possible. Here at Bigpoint we promote the right of free speech and as such the speakers corner will be for members only. Whilst we do not support any links posted in these forums we do have a legal right to monitor such posts. Any links that direct themselves to Adult or Illigal based sites will be deleted. Posts made mearly to advertise other Sites whilst not illigal it is not encouraged to advertise sites of the same nature as Bigpoint.

Please do remember this site has been created for the use of members. If any member does feel offended by any post they do have a right to report as such to a site admin. Images of pornographic nature (Hard Core and Child) are strictly probhibited

Red Card System:
Offence :
• Repeated Cap Letters = 1 Point Expires 5 Days
• Advertisement = 2 Points Expires 10 Days
• Wrong Avatar (Inapropiate Material) = 2 Points Expires 10 Days
• Spamming/Flooding = 2 Points Expires 10 Days
• Profanity = 2 Points Expires 10 Days
• Repeated Spamming Flooding = 5 Points Expires 10 Days
• Repeated Advertisement = 5 Points Expires 10 Days
• Insulting Other Users = 5 Points Expires 10 Days
• Insulting Bigpoint Staff = 5 Points Expires 10 Days
• Insulting MODs/Admins = 5 Points Expires 10 Days
• Vulgarly Language = 5 Points Expires 10 Days

Point totals will accumalte until they reach there expiry date of at which point that offence will no longer count towards your total points. Upon receiving a Red card the Expiry dates increase for each additional card after that.
Punishment: Ban from all Boards
•10 Points = 1 Day
• 30 Points = 5 Days
• 50 Points = 10 Days
• 100 Points = 1 Month

Waiting Times:
Although we do try to answer every thread as quick as possible please do remember that this is not always the case. We do try to solve and answer every thread within 48 Hours please be paitent as there is many things that can affect the time of which your case is solved.

Pictures:
In this forum you have the possibility to attach pictures to your posts as well as link to ofsite pictures. Although this is permitted so long as they do not breach copywrite laws or the board rules.
Pictures of this nature are strictly prohibited:
• Pornographic
• Racial
• Politically Motivated
• Images of an obscene nature

Closed Topics:
If a Moderator/Admin closes your thread this does mean that, that topic has either been solved or you have been directed to support. If this is the case it does not give you right to open a new thread regarding the same subject. If you feel that your topic has been closed unjustly you can always send an email to support.

Personal Information:
As this is a publically open board it is viewed world wide, Please remember this when making your posts. You do never know who is reading this and thus directly posting your own personal information or that of others could carry consequences unbeknown. This includes but not limited to:
• Email Address
• Passwords
• Phone Numbers
• Home Address
• IM/TS or other online communication programs

Say No!:
Nobody can force you to contact them or reply to them, This should be done at your own choice and free will. If you do find yourself in a situation where you feel you are been harressed please do make sure you take a screenshot of the situation and report it to the Mods/Admins straight away. Although you do not need to take a screenshot should circumstances arise where lawful punishment should be sought this will provide sufficent proof.

A Meeting? Not Alone:
Should somebody from the game wish to meet you in person please do remember that people are not always what they seem. You should exercise extreme caution when arranging to meet somebody that you have met online. Try to take along a friend/relative with you and arrange to meet in an open public place and try to stay there.

Advertisement:
At this board it is not permitted to advertise products that are not related yet in the same nature as Bigpoint. Please remember that this is a buisness advertising any sort of products not directly related to Bigpoint although all are not forbidden please do use common sence.
